Local Amenities

Throughout the year there are many local fetes, guided walks, concerts and special activities. Many of these are themed and all have something to offer from the 'quick look around' to the 'spend the day and have lunch'.

The best way to find about about these is either through the local tourist office, who are really helpful and take their task pretty seriously, or on the pages of the Midi Libre. Most cafes have a few Midi Libres for their customer and all newsagents sell them. There is usually a section for actives for today and tomorrow.

The Midi Libre has been the source that has taken us to a small village with bull running and a Boney M tribute band and to the national horse training facility, the Haras Nationauz, near Uzes.

The Haras Nationaux has a really spectacular show. Buy tickets from the tourist information in Uzes.
